What crops do you plant in late game?

Confused

Farmer
So, for me, when I'm playing, I like to plant what's gonna get me the most money in the early game.

But as I reach the late game, and I start making more money from my wine empire.

I kinda start to plant other crops just for fun! Like a bunch of wheat in summer and fall, because I think it's aesthetic.

I know a lot of people usually just go for the most high selling crop or ancient fruit, but I wanted to see what other people might do!

If i don't need to pant anything just for money, I usually try to get giant crops and plant a little bit of everything for cooking
Also I never did this, but filling up the whole field with mixed flower seeds seems fun

I only plant enough outside to feel like I'm some sort of perfunctory farmer in late game when there are few goals and more creativity to be had. I'm totally still farming, look at that impressive patch of crops. No nono, that's a trick of perspective, it's totally bigger if you like lay down right inside of it. Eclipses the WHOLE FARM!

Outside on the main farm I'll end up with about 60-100 seasonal high value crops:
Rhubarb in Spring,
Starfruit in Summer,
Pumpkin in Fall

In the Greenhouse, I have about 110
Ancient Fruit plus a row of 1 each of the reharvestables at the bottom:
Eggplant,
Strawberry,
Tomato, etc.

Ginger is randomness, always a requirement. This save I'm planting all Skull Cavern Fruit Tree
loot drops there and soon will need to rip out my mid-game Ginger planting of mostly Mixed Seeds to make room for more. So out goes the big random field of
Blueberries and
Pineapples. Ginger is never planned, it's always whatever it wants to be.

Utter chaos is best!

Generally I just farm starfruit and ancient fruit, I've played the game enough to mostly be bored with the general cycle of crop harvest and processing so I usually try to spice it up with something like mining or honey or some weird route with optimized fishing.

It adds some flavour and I don't have to fall into the same crop cycle on the mainland every time I play, which is enjoyable enough in itself
