The Internet really is a amplifier for any kind of fear lmaoo. I can gurrante you without the Internet half the world won't know what Ai is.

when you stop to think about how the people in charge of AI want to scam their brains and upload themselves to the Internet or whatever and thereby become AI gods effectively, the entire AI.apocalypse changes tunes quite rapidly. yes, they will take over society, and are already trying to, but not from the perspective of modern AIs.

why else do you think they push NeuraLink research and development so hard?

anyways, I'm going to stop there before this becomes political

I don’t hate ai but I feel it’s mostly used for bad rather then good such as deepfakes and character ai type chat bots + ai slop
Deepfakes are becoming a big problem and may start ruining lives things are already getting out of hand and I feel there needs to be some regulations also ai art is a big issue most artists don’t consent for their work to being used to help train these ai bots
Plus ai art is now being used to sell products and ai really isn’t good for the environment and things will continue to get worse overall I don’t hate ai rather I dislike how most people seem to be using it, but that’s just my opinion
