Ohh okay! I am very excited. Do crops just not really grow at all during winter? I’m not sure what to expect hahaWinter. Scenery looks more beautiful than ever, the menial task of growing crops is an afterthought, it's forage-ables are great and your fireplace shines, both literally and figuratively.
Quite contrary to the other reply but I can totally understand this. Just wrapped up my first spring and it was beautiful. The buzzing of the bugs during summer is really getting to me!I adore spring. Especially the first day of spring. That first day after a month of dreary winter and the blinding snow, then the spring music kicks in...hooo boy.
Oddly enough, in real life, I love winter. lol
Only a couple of crops grow during winter, outdoors. You can grow anything though, once you unlock the Greenhouse (and "garden pots")!Ohh okay! I am very excited. Do crops just not really grow at all during winter? I’m not sure what to expect haha
I love love love Spring irl, but hate it in Stardew. I’ve had so many different saves that I’ve seen spring way more than other season and I’d love to start the game in a different season for once. lol! Though I do like berry season and the new desert fest.I adore spring. Especially the first day of spring. Oh nice! I’m so excited to see all these seasons.I love love love Spring irl, but hate it in Stardew. Winter is beautiful in Stardew but blinding even with new snow slider in the menu. So I’d say summer and Fall in Stardew.
I’m very nervous about my first winter. I’m not really doing much preseaech and experiencing it as it comes haha.I always look forward to winter, the valley just looks sooo beautiful buttt spring is always refreshing after a long and boring winter :>
I think I’m looking forward most to fall. I love that season IRL.Absolutely fall. Beautiful countryside view and nice music.
Gosh, golly you know a lot about this game!Spring is my mental reset after the blinding white of Winter, which on it's own is enough to make it my favorite season. Sure, other seasons have advantages like Summer with its buzzy sounds and peppy music when I can sell swimwear to everyone in town in the Clothing Store. In Winter I don't need to harvest anything on the main Farm and with the animals stuck inside I can rearrange the Farm layout with minimal annoyance so that's nice. Fall.. yeah. It's Fall. I guess. Oooo wait! Fall has Mushroom Trees! +1 for Fall.
But Spring and Winter do conspire together to make something I look forward to every turn of the year, and no it's not Leah's Spring 1 dialog as I've never married her. Instead it's the endless enjoyment I get from planting a dozen or 2 Grass Starters on Winter 28 and letting the grassBOOM go nutso on Spring 1. All the Grass I could ever want, on a farm that's the antithesis of a Factory Farm with all it's square pathing and planning.
Nah, just give me a warm Spring day with loads of grass haphazardly growing beneath randomly self-sprouted Trees with a bit of Cauliflower or Rhubarb growing in a li'l patch in a corner of the farm.
Bliss.
Zzzzzzzz......
Just have fun with it! You will usually have fewer crops to worry about, so think of it as a chance to explore other aspects of the game. Crab pots and mining are great. Wander around town and say hi to everyone, as it does slowly increase your friendship.I’m very nervous about my first winter. I’m not really doing much research and experiencing it as it comes haha.
Oh that’s a smart idea! Currently I’m taking advantage of raining days to make progression so I’ll keep that in mind. In terms of friendship I sort of select a few I want to work on and make sure to say hi.Just have fun with it!
