Wedding in coop

Hello there! I’ve got a question and I’ll be very happy to get feedback :) I’m playing Stardew Valley with my man and we’re getting married in 3 days. But what happens if i play this whole time without him? Will the wedding be cancelled or will it start next morning after he joins? (It might seem silly but I really wanna watch the ceremony haha)

That’s a good question. I’ve never played multiplayer but I would hope you have to be playing at the same time to be married to each other? But just in case I’d hold off playing on that save until he can join in the playthrough. That would be safest. It’s not silly at all to want to watch your wedding with your irl love! I just love when irl couples marry on Stardew! Congratulations in advance on the big day! 🥹. Take a picture for us if you want/can!

Generally the countdowns for stuff in multiplayer only apply when the player is actually playing.

so a tool upgrade could be stretched from 2 days to 10 if the farmhand upgrading it is off the game for the first 8-9 of those days.

I would assume marrying is the same, but it could also just happen the day after he logs on and right after you both sleep on that day. I can guarantee it won’t happen without him there though, so don’t fret.
