Android War memento accidentally sold.

Hi, I’m playing Stardew Valley on Android (Samsung Galaxy A72, 2019).
I encountered a bug with The Pirate’s Wife quest.

I received the War Memento from Birdie on Ginger Island, but I accidentally placed it into the shipping bin and went to sleep. The item is now gone from my inventory, and Birdie no longer gives it again. As a result, the quest is stuck and I cannot proceed.

I tried:

Talking to Birdie again – she just fishes and doesn’t respond.

Checking the “Lost & Found” – it’s not there.

Looking for save backups – nothing available before the item was lost.


This quest seems to be softlocked if the War Memento is lost this way.
Is there any way to retrieve the quest item or reset the quest?

You should not have been able to put it into the shipping bin. Have you checked all chests, fridges etc?

If you can’t find it you could add the item spawner and add it back and then just remove that mod.

That shouldn't be possible, try checking EVERY chest/junimo chest/fridge/autograbber/etc. that you have as you may have misplaced it

If it is an item you can only get once it will be in some sort of storage
