Android Walking up to Gunther bug

Each time I enter the library and walk towards Gunther, the game glitches and I jump forward. Instead it should be one smooth movement but it isn't.

Lewis approved town funds to get that bulge in the library's entrance floor fixed, but I guess Gunther has been too busy to ask Robin for help.
