Hello, this is an update from my recent post.

To explain this in a nutshell: I learned that the "Auto petter" item is the issue this entire time. From the post that I linked, the user stated to not put the Auto Petter outside of your farm otherwise it will crash your game. I realized that I have done exactly that without realizing it. So I decided to test this theory by getting rid of the Auto Petter and going to the island. After my player fell asleep the game saved and now I'm on a new day!
