I am unable to throw away a broken trident I obtained from fishing. When I attempted to trash it, unlike other 'equipment' items, it did not show a gold value, and would not trash. I was unable to resume the game with the item on the cursor, a change I assume was made in 1.5, but this prevented me from simply dropping the item on the ground.
Fortunately, I was still able to sell it at the Adventurer's Guild, but having an inventory slot forcefully occupied with no immediate solution might be problematic if this glitch were to occur in, say, the Skull Cavern.
