unable to obtain ??foroguemon?? in 1.6.9 beta

hello!

playing the 1.6.9 beta with the following mods:

• SMAPI
• movement speed
• generic mod config menu (for movement speed)
• stardew hack (for movement speed)
• NPC map locations
• catalogues are cheap
• content patcher (for catalogues are cheap)

tried doing this twice before realizing it may be a bug, but i tried obtain the ??foroguem?? statue by placing a strange bun in vincent's chest in his room. i've found the lost book and looked at it in the library. when i placed the bun, the chime that normally plays when the statue appears played, but i received no statue (same thing happened both times). i haven't tried this yet with the other two statues (??HMTGF?? and ??pinky lemon??) but plan to try when i play next. here's my log for today, when i tried it once (tried it the first time earlier in the week):
