two problems

i got a reward for 500 at the fair. but it didn't show up in my gold. what did i do wrong? it was a black 500 in the upper left of the screen.
and i can't figure out how to make a silo? i am in winter year one

Those are star tokens and don’t affect your gold. You buy the silo from Robin.
