There's nothing in there as it's an out-of-bounds location which can't be reached without using mods like NoClip or the sword swinging glitch. It's like those tunnels you'll occasionally see in the Mines which lead off to the upper left but you can't actually go in. The game's teasing us with things that mmmm cooooould be there but really aren't.

Pretty much what lew said, just some visual differences to spark some life and variation into each of the different areas. Does offer some potential if Ape comes back to the game though, I'd love to see and explore some new areas

I’m not sure about the tunnel beside the entrance to The Summit either, but I’m curious to find out more! It sounds like an interesting feature, especially if it's above the spa.
