Trying to play with friends?

I'm trying to play with my friend that lives in Pennsylvania with online play but she can't get on the game for some reason. We've tried local as well but nothing works... Do you have suggestions to try fix this?

Also before you do read through this, do note you have to be on the same platform for any multiplayer (except with mobile/pc but if you're playing states away from eachother that's a whole another issue to fix with mobile only being over LAN)

Hey! Make sure both of you have the same game version, stable internet, and check firewall settings. Restarting devices often helps too. Hope it works!
