Unfortunately, yes. Not just lemons, but all citrus fruits, mostly the oils in the rinds, which makes it an airborne allergy. If I smell it, I've got an asthma attack waiting a while later.
And just as unfortunately they're not my only allergies, just those that are most common to put in just about any kind of food, even when they aren't needed.
