definitely shaft, you can easily replenish ur health after

Shafts are faster so better but you can skip past the special Treasure Chests at Level 100, 200, or 300 with a Shaft so maybe use Ladders only at Levels 90-99, 190-199, 290-299. Yes, I did some key field work on this. Skill issue.
