Solved This character belongs to another player [Windows]

I was trying to come back to stardew valley with my friend rn but when I try to join his game Iam just unable to select my character we are on the latest version of the game and we tried a solution of using splitscreen cause supposedly the character was "linked" to the host's account somehow and joining with splitscreen and leaving the session "fixed it" but nothing happened

Hi! In the upcoming Stardew Valley 1.6.9, the host player can enter /unlinkPlayer name in the chatbox to unlock a character, so it'll be reassigned to the next person who connects with it.
