The new longer quests need balancing ASAP

I wasted two weeks in game farming for the "Prismatic Jelly" and "A Curious Substance" quests, going to the mines absolutely all day every days after watering my crops, abused floor resets as much as I could, and I still didn't loot a single quest item from either quest. Talk about frustration omfg.
I wasted half my fall season chasing after quests that are really poorly balanced.

Please fix, I won't touch this new board until it's been updated.

You might want to try some of the other ones. Some of them are hella easy and don't require a monster randomly spawn on a random level in the mines like the one you're having issue with.

I couldn't agree more. But is it possible to a quest over if failed or not chosen?

Personally I haven't had any issue with these quests including the ones you mentioned. That said, it's possible that I just got lucky though and they may need adjustment. But they are certainly intended to be more difficult and I don't think there's anything wrong with leaving them until later in the game if you want to focus on your farm.

Yep! Quests will appear again.
