Swimming in the ocean

I think it would be funny if the player could use the locker room at Ginger Island and swim in the ocean (similar to the spa). Running around with swimwear could also allow to reach special places like the ship-bow of the wreck and the mini-island there.
And why we don't have a locker room at the beach of Pelican town?

Yes! Maybe make is so you need to take swim class to go in deeper water or something?

Because nobody wants to swim there. Have you *seen* how much trash there is in the water around Pelican Town? Not to mention the crabs. The pinchy, pinchy crabs.

No they fear the deep ones of inn boca. The sea monster doesn't have a tail it's got tentacles. With all mentions of stardrops it's probably a starchild......but you wouldn't know about that would you!

Another addition with swimming in the ocean (both Pelican Town and Ginger Island) could be to have beach-clothes to make first. Maybe one needs to complete a task to get the cutting pattern from Emily!? We would need some new materials for the sewing machine of course too - but there are enough wishes for new fruits. so that's not a problem.
Swimsuits and maybe swim class (mentioned above from Ellajoy) could also be needed to reach special places.

Unfortunately it's just a change for the player and without usage of any locker room.
