Hi! I am hosting a co-op game on the Steam Deck. After the most recent update, every time I try to host, it’s suck on, “Connecting to online services.”
I’ve tried all the troubleshooting tactics:
-shutting down
-restarting
-unplugging my router
-unconnecting and reconnecting to the internet
-uninstalling and reinstalling Stardew valley
it’s been extremely frustrating. I ended up transferring my back up to my laptop but I’d prefer to play on my deck. Please help!!!
Update: I think I have found a solution!!! If you go to the games settings on your steam deck, then properties, I changed my compatibility to Proton 9.0-4. You must select, “Force the use of a specific Steam Play comparability tool” and it worked! I hope this is a long term solution and it works for you too
