Linux Steam Deck Co-op Host Fail

Hi! I am hosting a co-op game on the Steam Deck. After the most recent update, every time I try to host, it’s suck on, “Connecting to online services.”

I’ve tried all the troubleshooting tactics:
-shutting down
-restarting
-unplugging my router
-unconnecting and reconnecting to the internet
-uninstalling and reinstalling Stardew valley

it’s been extremely frustrating. I ended up transferring my back up to my laptop but I’d prefer to play on my deck. Please help!!!

I am having the same issue. I thought it was because I just downloaded Smapi to use UI Info suite 2 mod. But now after seeing a few more people with issues I don't think this error was due to the mod. Tonight I have factory reset my steam deck. The issue is still persisting even after a reset.

Hi, my partner just starting having this problem yesterday.

She done the same as you,

-shutting down
-restarting
-unplugging my router
-unconnecting and reconnecting to the internet
-uninstalling and reinstalling Stardew valley

as well as,
-verifying file integrity
-logging in and out of steam

She remebers there was a Steamdeck update and this just happened. No other of our coop games have been affected, its just Stardew and she gets stuck at the same “Connecting to online services." screen. But can play singleplayer.

Sorry I have no solution but adding this post to help get more attention.
