Hello fellow Stardew Valley enthusiasts,

I'm excited to share a tool I've developed to help non-English speaking players enjoy the vast world of Stardew Valley mods. Initially, I created this tool to translate mods for my girlfriend so we could delve into multiplayer together. As we exhausted the Vanilla content, we ventured into numerous mods, but the language barrier was a hurdle. To overcome this, I used AI to translate everything for her.

During this process, I realized that there might be others out there, like us, wanting to enjoy these mods in their native language. In my case, it was Czech. I felt compelled to share this tool with our community, hoping it could help others as well.

Here is the link for the tool:

Feel free to use it as you see fit. You could even create separate mods with translations and upload them on Nexus, if you wish. Just remember to mark them as AI translated.

Enjoy and happy farming!

Hi Alino, I just discovered this thread after some extensive Googling. I've been toying with the idea of doing something similar for the entire game. Initially, I considered translating it all myself, but then I realized this might be a task better suited for AI. My sister and father struggle with playing the game because it's not in a familiar language, and they would absolutely love being able to fully grasp it if it were translated. Thoughts regarding this?

Hello Alino,

I really admire the idea behind your tool – it’s clever and full of potential.

But as someone without any tech background, I found the setup process quite overwhelming.
Even with help from ChatGPT, I often didn’t fully understand what I was doing – and I was genuinely worried I might accidentally break something on my system.

It feels too complex for people like me, who simply want to translate mods into their own language.
Would it maybe be possible to create a more user-friendly version – like a small app where you can drop in your mods folder and get a translated version in return?
