I think Stardew Valley could make a great heart-warming movie or k-drama style series. The main character has a tedious life working at Joja, bad relationship and living in a shoebox so they quit and move to the valley and find it run-down so get a bit depressed at first. They then set about rennovating and becoming part of the town. The characters could be fleshed out and really interesting. The finale is when the Community Center rennovation is finished and they do the opening ceremony.
