This is the right spot for suggestions! Stardew is already part of Google Play Pass, and I'm not sure if there's any restrictions on if games are just for one or the other.

I will note that one of Stadia's main selling points is that you can stream really great games regardless of the hardware you personally own, which is really great for something like Cyberpunk, but doesn't matter as much for Stardew which requires very little when it comes to specs.

Hello,
I would like to second this request. Odin is right, Stardew Valley can run on almost any hardware I have tried. However the appeal of Stadia would be being able to easily play on all of your devices on demand. No updates or downloads. It would be great to be able to play the same game save on my Android, iPhone, TV, Laptop, and tablet. I do not think there are restrictions for it already being part of play pass since you would be porting the PC version of the game. Plus there is still a relatively limited game selection and almost no games within the same genre as Stardew Valley. I think a fun relaxing game like Stardew Valley would gain a lot of traction on the Stadia platform.

Agreed, really want to see this game on stadia so I can play with a better controller and larger screen. Would also be nice to not have to drain the battery on my phone or having to plug a laptop in. I have no issue paying for this game again

Howdy, I just came in to check to see if there's been any news on the Stadia port? Mainly if there is going to be one? I have Stardew Valley on Switch and my Chromebook but I'd prefer it on Stadia perhaps even with 4k support (Since Terraria did it!).

But yeah to echo what others on this thread has said: I will gladly pay again to buy this game on the Google Stadia which is where I do all my gaming nowadays anyway.

There hasn't been any news. Only the developers can answer if the game would ever be available on Stadia. I'd recommend following ConcernedApe on Twitter as that's where any game announcements will appear first. We do post game announcements in the News & Announcements section at the very top of the forums as well. (I've already given my thoughts on the idea itself further up in the thread).

They are moving all of the development team out and for new games will only be offering 3rd party products... or so the official story goes. Thing is, the VP and GM of the platform kept using lots of words to say very little in his blog post from 02/02/21... and that combined with the fact that they're purging all the developers? What this tells me is that Stadia's hemorrhaging and they're doing damage control, hoping to save it, but it is most likely dying if you ask me.

For now? It is definitely still alive, but I suspect they're hiding the life support tubes and wires from us as much as they can.

Isn't Stadia a basically dead platform at this point? Is it worth porting over?
Eh google is weird. I'd definitely say it's worth porting over if Google will pay for it, which they are still doing very aggressively especially for popular games.

Resident Evil 8 being a good example as it just got announced this Tuesday coming to the platform

Good point. They are making a lot of weird decisions but Google has always done that.

Old thread I know but I would love to play it on Stadia. One save across all devices would be amazing. Yes. I *can* play on Android but I'd much prefer to play on Stadia!

Again, old thread, I know, but I'd like to second the request for a Stadia version. I wouldn't mind paying for the game again. Would love to be able to play the same save on my work computer, my home computer, and my laptop, without having to install on a memory card and carry that around with me without losing it. Much easier to keep track of a controller versus a little memory card.

If you are just playing on only PC, you can just sign into steam on all devices and all the saves will sync when with internet, much easier than anything else.

On GeForce Now you can do the same, it just links you to your Steam saves and away you go on a 13 year old laptop, playing your current saves in your games.

If I owned Stardew Valley on Steam.

Always these silly details...

I think you can do the same with GOG.com when using GOG-Galaxy. ....IF you owned Stardew Valley on GOG.
