Stardew Valley mobile from the Amazon app store (android)

Will the Amazon app store version of Stardew be updated to 1.5, or will those who spent money be left in the dust, having to spend another $5 just for content?

The update is still rolling out slowly to those on Android and may take a few days. Not everyone on the Play Store version has it yet either. I don't think there's any reason to the Amazon version won't get 1.5, I would give it a few days and see.

Why would anyone have to pay another $5 for content? All ways in which Stardew is distributed will update the game for free once it is available. Concerned Ape has spent years working on this game and giving everyone free updates to the newest version at every step along the way. If Amazon charges you to update, that's Amazon, not Concerned Ape.

I'm guessing what you're seeing is the fact that every store can't take a hit of updating everyone at once. They roll through it. You're just waiting for a little bit, but you're going to get the update for free, my friend. I understand that mobile players have had their patience tested in all of this, but just a little more is needed. I mean, if I could wave a wand and everyone have the update, I would, but that's not realistic. It's on its way to you, though, trust that.

Then perhaps you should rephrase, or maybe you should read the rest of my reply where I point out that expecting a rollout to hit everyone all at once is unrealistic?

Or do you have some other complaint that you haven't explained in any way shape or form?

When i say "pay $5 for content", i mean rebuying on google play to get the 1.5 update before amazon, which nobody should have to do (looking at you, plague inc). Since they're both android apps i would figure 1.5 would share the same release for both google play and amazon.

You don't have to re-buy the program. It'll come to all stores.

...but the different stores have different review processes that will make them actually appear at different times, and the stores also don't make new updates available to everyone instantly. They make updates available by region so that their servers aren't hit with one massive update for everyone. It'll get to you and you shouldn't have to pay again. We've never had to pay for an update to SDV.

It does not appear to have been uploaded to the amazon store yet. Any news on when we can expect this to happen? thanks

I was very happy to see the release of the 1.5 update to the Amazon Appstore earlier this week. The version currently available for download is 1.5.6.35. Have the .36 and .37 updates been submitted to Amazon for approval? Love the game. Thank you for all of your hard work!
