[Spoiler] Call from NPC

So I bought the phone item that allows you to ask for times/prices at shops. and suddenly I realised that the phone was ringing one day. I pick up and Vincent asks if my farm has pigs (which I do) and then pretty quickly hangs up. I'm wondering if anyone knows if there's a story here or if its just part of the lore. (Sorry, I didn't take any photos)
