Playing version v1.6.15 build 3 on Switch console, but the first occurrence was two updates before that. Save file is single player, English, and a completely regular file that was started after the 1.6 update came out. Cannot upload the save file unfortunately, as it is on an unmodded Switch I wouldn't know how.
I reached 100% perfection on the tracker after buying the golden clock, no perfection vouchers on Year 4 Spring 10. I slept, got the standard two text notifications upon achieving perfection, and the in-game pop-up that a sound was heard. Entered the perfection trigger zone on foot and triggered normally, spouse (Leah) scene completed normally, slideshow scene progressed until the crop fairies got to the end of the screen area and the cutscene stopped, screen went black, and game threw 2 error codes:
[Error] Event script error. The content file was not found.
[Error] On line #55: specificTemporarySprite getEndSlideshow
Did some quick searches and couldn't find anything but that zoom could be the issue, even though my issue did not look the same, I was initially zoomed out all the way, and I also was worried that having the fairy trinket equipped may have affected things. Closed the game application completely, reopened, reloaded, adjusted zoom to 100%, unequipped fairy box and tried again. Same issue. Figured maybe my game version was the issue, I was two updates behind, updated game twice, reopened, adjusted zoom, unequipped fairy box trinket, triggered cutscene, exact same issue.
Found out there were some recent problems related to similar error code language because of port typos in reference files for the Switch port of a 1.6 update/patch. Not sure if that is what is going on here or not, but even so I couldn't find a single mention of it happening during the perfection cutscene to anyone else. It is not related to zoom, have not had any other error codes like this my entire time playing the game on 1.5 or 1.6 on Switch. I have reached true perfection before on the same console/profile back on 1.5 so I knew what to expect normally but was also wondering/hoping to notice if there were any changes to the cutscene since 1.6.
Would really appreciate to just know if this is a known issue or alert the dev team if it's not, since it's kind of a major part of the game to miss out on, especially after working for 150 hours to trigger it. I am hoping it's just an easy fix for the port team that can be added to a future patch. Thanks for taking the time to read, I assume there won't be any immediate fixes for me, unless it is corrupted files on my console. If anyone thinks that they may be able to instruct me on whether/how I should delete the Stardew Valley launcher on my console while being able to retain all of my save data, I would appreciate it. I am happy to just alert to the issue in case anyone else may be affected, but I am really hoping that my save file can have the scene triggered eventually, won't be returning to the game on that console/profile for fear of locking myself out of the cutscene or it affecting my other save files if I were to start a new one.
