Something to do for Kent

So in my current playthrough, I was thinking that Kent isn't really doing much. He says Hi and sends you 1 request. I keep wishing that there was more for him. Add to this me looking at my old tools, duplicate clothing items, unused decorations, etc., and an idea was born.

Imagine this:
In the first week of Fall in year 2, Kent visits you on the farm. He explains that he is now working with a veteran's association, and they are collecting donations.
During week 2 of Fall, a donation box will be in front of the Community Center.
Not allowed are fruits, vegetables, forage, animal products, artisan goods, and cooking. Everything else is allowed including your old milk pail, furniture, and the 3 mystery shirts you got.
If you have donated anything, you will receive a thank-you letter on Fall 15 with a gift (not actual payment, something symbolic like a mystery box and a small amount of friendship points).

Yes, I know, I have enough space to keep the stuff, or I can just trash it. However, both options feel like a waste to me. I would love to do something more meaningful with it.

Great idea. I often thougt about gifting him a fishing rod, since he often says, what a great time for fishing it is. Maybe fishing would ease his mind a bit.
