I find stardew a wonderful game with how you can go around many of the features, however one place I feel it fails is the marriage system. I personally heavily dislike any kind of relationship (Including the more platonic route of krobus), so being forced to interact with the system for both the star-drop from maxed friendship and having to get 2 children for an achievement ruins the game quite a lot. Having some other way to interact with those 2 systems I imagine would better the game for a lot of people.
