First , it says could not find the game path automatically. Then, when I find it by myself by following steps online it throws this message on my terminal:
Type the file path to the game directory (the one containing 'Stardew Valley.dll'), then press enter.

/Users/name/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Stardew Valley/Contents/MacOS/StardewValley.GameData.dll

That directory doesn't seem to contain a valid game install.

What do I do?

Hey! I had this problem too, mine was in /Users/whateveryourusernameis/Documents/Stardew Valley.app/Contents/MacOS but i think it might be wherever you installed stardew valley. try opening the package contents and going to contents then macos

Hey y'all, I'm having the same issue. I've been trying for over an hour now but each pathname I give says its incorrect. I am on MacOS Sequoia also. ive put in the path to the stardew valley folder like a lot of videos online say, but that doesn't work. when I hit save it says "the file given isn't the StardewModdingAPI.dll".Then I put in the path to the MacOS folder under contents and it gives the same message. then I give the path directly to the StardewModding API.dll file and it gives the same message :( At this point I have resigned myself to not being able to use the Stardrop app. If anyone else has any knowledge in this I would greatly appreciate it.

Hello! Here Is your solution that worked for me if you have a Mac!

I'm assuming you've already got SMAPI installed. Go to your steam library, and ctrl+click/two finger click on Stardew Valley in your games list. Select "manage", and then "browse local files". This should pull up Stardew in Finder for you. Then, contents > Mac OS, and scroll until you see the "StardewModding API" programme. If you need to find the exact file location, ctrl+click/two finger click on the SMAPI programme, select "get info", and you should see it under the "General" tab (eg. /Users/(your name)/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Stardew Valley/Contents/MacOS) <--- Copy and paste this into Stardrop
