PlayStation Skull Cavern permanently stuck on “dangerous” state

My husband and I have been playing multiplayer on the new update. Just unlocked special Qi Quests from the Qi room on Ginger Island. We accepted the quest for the invasion of skull cavern. Failed to complete it within the time frame given, however our skull cavern mines are permanently stuck on that dangerous state. The skull at the top of the entrance with the pink/purple button still shows a ‘?’. We know that only changes upon completion of the quest. Nothing fixes our issue with it being permanently stuck.

Yet another glitch! *sigh*... Thanks for reporting! I really hope they're working on things and will have a patch for us soon...

Did you ever find a fix for this? My partner and I finished the Qi Quest for the skull cavern invasion and are experiencing the same thing on PlayStation. We actually did the Qi Quest and the original "make it to 100" quest at the same time. We can click the skull at the start and it just goes "?" and the cavern is stuck in spooky mode
