After marrying I'm not getting any more friendship points I've tried multiple gifts (pizza, pepper poppers, and rabbit feets) for 3 seasons almost every day. It's not going above 10 hearts.
Have you tried stardrop tea? If that doesn't make friendship increase a full heart, then there's truly a bug and I'd guess that some counter in the background still thinks you're just dating.
