As a complete noob, I attempted to follow the instructions at https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Moddi...ng_Started#Can_I_have_different_mod_groups.3F to the best of my ability but must have messed something up somewhere.
When running the executable file “Smapi_multiplayer.command”, a terminal window is launched containing the following: https://files.catbox.moe/6d7xj7.txt The contents of "Steam_multiplayer.command" (which is on my Desktop) is just the one line: /Applications/Steam.app/Contents/MacOS/steam_osx -applaunch 413150 --mods-path "Mods(Multiplayer)”) I am new to all this so assumed it might be best to not share the shell itself but in case I'm wrong, here it is https://files.catbox.moe/y5aqtl.command
Then after the "Steam_multiplayer.command -- 80x24" terminal window completes, the regular Smapi terminal window pops up and launches the game without any issue, except that it launches with the normal “Mods” folder and not my newly created “Mods(Multiplayer)” folder which the “Smapi_multiplayer.command” executable file should be getting it to launch with. Here is Smapi’s latest log from the same attempt: https://smapi.io/log/0541dc7445014591835e02bcd8eaa132
I confirmed I did create a folder in my game folder titled “Mods(Multiplayer)” and have filled it with copies of the few mods from my main folder I wanted to use in Multiplayer. See https://files.catbox.moe/j918g3.png for a screenshot of the two mod folders. I just simply duplicated the mods I wanted inside of the “Mods” folder and then dragged them into the new “Mods(Multiplayer)” folder making sure to remove “copy” and the extra space from the ends of the folder names (I'm suspicious as to whether or not this was wrong).
Oh and unfortunately, I accidentally closed the terminal window where I made “Smapi_multiplayer.command” executable and (thought I) gave it the necessary permissions to launch the game through the different mods folder, so it is entirely possible I messed up a step from the guide above I was following. Hoping this amount of information here can help someone at least point me in the right direction. Thank you for taking the time to read this :)
