It would be awesome if, later in the game, you could do like the espresso and make it so you can take 3 Salmonberry (or Blackberry) and cook them into a Super Berry so it's easier to use them in the mines.
It just takes so much time to eat them to fill your health while bats are flying over your head.
And I really do enjoy going around the map during Berry Season to get as many berries as possible. I make it into a separate game - can I get every single berry bush in a day? Hey - that could be a new accomplishment!
Anyway, I really do love the berry picking - I almost wish summer had them too.
