Honestly my issue with perfection has never been the one-of-everything, it's grinding those millions and millions of gold for the clock and to a slightly lesser extent obelisks. Like, when I've shipped and cooked and crafted and befriended everything and everyone, there's at least a little bit of variety in doing all that, but after that all that's left is "wait for ancient fruit to grow, harvest ancient fruit, put ancient fruit in keg, wait for keg to process, ship" repeated over and over until Numbers Go Up happens enough.
If you set up a simple grow-machine process on your Farm, then you're:

Harvesting & replanting outdoor crops once every 9 days
Harvesting Greenhouse once every 7 days
Kegging once every 7 days
Jarring once every 3 days

So every 28-day season you have:

7 days of all morning work. Afternoons and evenings free
6 days of half morning work. Late morning, afternoon, evenings free
15 days of no work. All day free.

That leaves a lot of time to do other things in-game. This is how I spent my 3 seasons in year 4 getting the g for the Golden Clock and frankly it flew by while I did other far more fun things like Qi Quests, designing the House and Farm, making outfits, running the Volcano for Dragon Teeth and Star Shards.
