Request for clarity on bug reports with modded games

Hi! I am new to the forum. I have a bug that I want to report, but also am playing a modded game. I have no particular reason to believe the bug is connected to the mod. But as a software developer myself, I understand how frustrating it is when people send you on a wild goose chase by reporting a "bug" that's really a case of them making a mistake or using a buggy mod. However, I don't understand where to report this bug. The "Help & Bug Reports (Non-Modded)" section of the forum specifies that it should not be used for reports on modded games (again, understandable!). It directs players to the "Mod Support" section. However, that section makes it clear that it is for issues that are specifically with mods. I can't find a place to make a report when you are technically playing a modded game, but experiencing a bug that is not necessarily mod-related. Where should I go for that?

(For what it's worth, here's the bug. Warning for late-game spoilers.
Villagers go to the Ginger Island resort much later in the day after unlocking the shortcuts in the Community Upgrade. While they're typically supposed to arrive at Ginger Island around 11am, I now see them walking into the Pelican Town beach from the shortcut near Leah's house around 3:20pm. They make it into Willy's shop around 4:10pm, and arrive on the dock around 4:20pm. They aren't in their bathing suits enjoying the island until around 4:40pm! The only mod I have is Baldur's Village, and its dependencies which are Content Patcher, SMAPI, and Portraiture. It doesn't do anything with Ginger Island except for allowing Astarion to visit there (which he didn't even happen to be doing when I noticed this bug). No issues before doing the shortcut upgrade.

As I understand it if you're making a post concerning the modded game, whether it's to report bugs or anything else, it should go in the Mod Support section. The admins can move this thread over there the next time they're on.

Good to know. I can make a thread there, then. Thanks for clarifying!

I don't think it would be a good idea to move this thread there, though. The feedback still stands - there should be more clarity on where to post bugs when you happen to have a modded game. The description of the Mod Support section says "Need help installing a mod or have some issues with mods? This is where to do it!" Neither of those necessarily applies in this case. I don't need help installing a mod, and don't necessarily have an issue with a mod. Just have an issue, and happen to have a mod which may or may not be related. Either there should be a forum section for this situation, or the Mod Support description should clarify that it's the place to go for any sort of bugs when playing non-vanilla.
