I’ve completed 5 of the raccoon quests so far and get the message that the shop has expanded each time but it still only shows the first 4 seeds. Restarting the game, leaving and coming back, etc doesn’t do anything.

Hi, when did you start this save file? back when 1.16 was released onto switch there was a known issue with the racoons not progressing. there will be some kind of fix lock issue with the store progression and the dialogue for them that has yet to be fixed and to my knowledge there is no fix for this as of yet! maybe just keep upgrading them till theyre a full family and keep your fingers crossed that next patch they release a fix for this!

Just started a new save file for 1.6 and having the same problem.

Having the same problem on Switch, multiplayer game if that makes a difference. Have gotten the message it expanded multiple times but can only see the first 4 items.

This is concerning. I just unlocked the greenhouse on my new 1.6 save, so I can't back this up, but it looks like a very common issue. I hope CA and supporting developers are aware of this issue and working on a fix!

I started it I think shortly after the new release was out. I planned to just keep upgrading until I couldn’t anymore but sad cause I don’t think I’ve ever unlocked the raccoon shop before on previous saves.

That’s why I posted because I can’t find anything showing that they’re aware of this issue/working on it but it could just be they haven’t posted anything until they make the fix.

I think we just have to hope for the best and continue bringing it to their attention until we see a fix. No way to know if they're aware of it unless they tell us, so we just have to keep on telling them until they patch it up

Still having the same issue as of 9th Jan '25, ver 1.6.9.37 on switch. I have the full racoon family but still only selling the 4 seeds. Additionally the island trader bird never started selling golden coconuts which may be the same error (had real bad luck finding the skull fossil so was quite frustrating).
According to the wiki the bookseller should also now sell the Queen of Sauce cookbook as I have over 100 golden walnuts but this has also not been added. (Missing just 1 recipe that is now 1.5 years away

Pierre's stock list did add all of the seeds for purchase but as that was an effect of a specific item I assume it might be coded differently? Otherwise there seems to be a common thread of shops not expanding stock even when the conditions are met.

I am having the same issue on Switch :( they have like 4-5 kids now and the wife still only sells the 4 seeds even though it always says the shop has expanded

Made an account just to post the same issue with version 1.6.9.37 on Switch. I did notice that it said that the shop had been expended yet I never saw anything new… Am currently at four (4) raccoon babies, waiting until some pickles and juice is done for the current request.
Created this new farm on release date, but didn’t start playing until December 2024. Would be a real shame as I am 80 hours in now 🥲

This is a known issue and a switch patch will be released soon, consoles only recently got theirs around Christmas. Might be best to try and look at Twitter/X for updates

I’m also having the same issue. It sucks honestly, I really wish they’d fix it already but we’ll just have to wait.
