Sleep until the 22-23 of summer or get a prize ticket (and sleep)
Clicking escape on the cutscene with the plane "Mystery boxes will now appear" will make the plane/mr qi disappear instead of actually ending the cutscene
The already existing boxes still fall, but the plane is gone and no new ones spawn. The text appears on the screen like normal, and the cutscene takes just as long to end.
