Solved Prize ticket bug

I accepted a quest for mayor lewis to kill slimes (2 day quest) and didn’t finish it on the first day. The second day another slime quest appeared on the community board and I accepted it, so I had 2 slime quests active in total.

I went to the mines and completed both quests and returned for my reward and mayor lewis only gave me one prize ticket not two (he did pay me gold for both quests however).

Using Windows and no mods with latest patch.

I should add this happened when my inventory was full too. I’m not sure if that was an issue and it was also my first prize ticket quests. (It occurred very early on in the game as soon as the mine was unlocked).

It’s the way the prize tickets work. You get a prize ticket for every third quest. The game doesn’t count active quests, so if you have done two, every quest appearing on the board will display as if it is the third.

the same is true the other way round. If you have done one quest, and accept two at the same time, none of them will have a prize ticket displayed, but you’ll still get one if you finish both.

Thank you so much for clearing this up! I haven’t even played Stardew since before Ginger Island was added so I am floored by all of this new cool stuff!
