I recently installed the Portraiture mod along with some high-res portrait textures. Everything looks great during conversations — the portraits show up as expected.
However, I've run into a strange issue: the character portraits also appear in-game as the avatars themselves. So instead of the regular sprite walking around, I see the portrait head "walking" around the map..... It looks like their portrait replaced their actual body sprite.
Has anyone experienced this before? Is this a known bug with certain texture packs or a misconfiguration on my end? I'd really appreciate any help or advice on how to fix this...
