What's about his (former) wife?
What's with the witch that gives the void egg or colors the Slimes black - is this the same as the wizards wife?
What's with Abigail?
What's with the friendship of the wizard and Linus (see them talking at the Spirit's Eve)?

My theory is that Abbigail is the wizard‘s niece, not daughter. Caroline is actually a few hundred but doesn’t really mention it much

I don't think I've heard that theory before, but I really like it! The wizard does sort of give off uncle energy
