What's with the witch that gives the void egg or colors the Slimes black - is this the same as the wizards wife?

What's with the friendship of the wizard and Linus (see them talking at the Spirit's Eve)?

I don't think I've heard that theory before, but I really like it! The wizard does sort of give off uncle energy

I think these are all things worth exploring! It'd be really interesting to learn more about the wizard and his history. It seems he's always too absorbed in his work to talk to the farmer very much...
