Issue [PC] Stuck at 40FPS with no mods downloaded, nothing I do seems to be able to fix it.

Hey guys, I have a problem that I can’t seemed to be solved: I can run the 1.5.5 beta fine, but once I add SMAPI to it, my games gets capped at 40FPS

1.5.5 W/SMAPI no mods: 40FPS
1.5.5 W/SMAPI mods: 40FPS
1.5.5 W/O SMAPI: 60FPS

All of my drivers are updated, and I have not downloaded anything that would cause this; I used to run Stardew fine with SMAPI on all the previous updates but this one Any help would be greatly appreciated
