PC controls vs Mobile

On the other hand, on PC you can hold down two buttons and run through your field to harvest everything out plant seeds. On mobile, I have to tap every single plant. Definitely feels easier on PC to have huge fields.
I'm trying to learn SV on PC after many, many, MANY hours on my tablet. Is there a guide to learn stuff like what "two buttons allow you to harvest everything" Should I try to learn the keyboard/mouse combo, or try a controller.
Right now, I can't even get my character out of bed on PC.

Take a look at the control section on the wiki: https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Controls

you can also change the key bindings (e.g. I play on a laptop and prefer to use arrows instead of wasd to change directions).

I play switch right now. I suspect that when I finally switch to PC, it'll take lots of getting used to.
If you’ve played the game in any capacity it helps get used to any other platform

While I first played on pc, it was only shortly and I really got back into it when playing on mobile. When I wanted to play pc again the transition wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would be as I basically knew everything to do, just had to remap my muscle memory so to speak

Mobile controls sucks I messaged Ape many times with no reply, the reason I got into the forums years ago bc of the mobile controls aswell and still nothing changed. You have to tap for each action like 100 crops means 100 times till, plant, fertilise, water, harvest you can’t hold down the buttons which is ugly. You need thumbs of steel to be able to play mobile for more than couple hours at a time

I haven’t played on my phone for very long time I have around 150 hours on single farm on mobile and maybe double the hours on pc and I would never touch to mobile again

It doesn’t actually it is the same and there are more buttons to freely customise for example I use - and + buttons on the keypad at the right side and I tap them with my right hand thumb it’s great for quick sword draw and food break

and welcome to the diagonal world

My first version was mobile, I use the invisible joystick with 2 buttons; for me it's the most comfortable option, and for better results I put the toolbar at the bottom. But playing with my phone for long time hurts my wrists, so I bought a mobile game controller (with it you can play using your mobile like a Switch or portable console) and that's the way I play (thanks to the Mayan Gods that the game recognized the controller, or it could be a reeeeaaaaaaaallyyyyyy bad purchase :dwarf:)
Then when I got the PC version, using the keyboard and mouse felt really odd, fortunately I can use the same controller via Bluetooth to play.
In conclusion, I use a controller for mobile and PC and in my humble opinion, learning to play with a controller could be helpful to play on basically any platform.
