Parrot egg upgrade

I can’t seem to use the anvil with the parrot egg. I haven't really used this trinket before, but it says level 1 so I figured it was able to be upgraded on the anvil. It just shows ??? when I try to use the anvil to upgrade it. Is level 1 the only level for the parrot? Am I doing it wrong?

Do you have 3 iridium bars?

Parrot eggs are levels 1 to 4, the anvil will re-roll the level - it's not a direct upgrade.

According to the wiki, they seem to only become available depending on your total earnings. How much money have you earned on this farm?
