So, yet another post about multiplayer issues... I'm sorry for creating another one.
tl;dr: host farm's not showing to connection only on an specific farm. Please help! :(
I'm playing online with my girl. Everything was running fine and we're on year 2, but out of sudden, I can't connect to that specific farm - it's not showing up for connection.
We created another farm and it's working fine, just our main farm doesn't show up to connect.
I've searched the forum and there are numerous posts about mp issues, but I didn't found any that has this exact same issue only on an specific farm.
The weird thing is: only our main farm doesn't work. If both of us try to host any other, it listed and I can join just fine
Her: Host, switch 1.
Me: Trying to join, switch 2.
Version: 1.6.15 build 3 (on both consoles).
Language: Portuguese (we also tried to play on english, spanish, italian. Same issues).
Been playing for long time, since I was on my switch 1, moved to switch 2, everything was running perfect. Never have issues so far, til this week.
What we tried so far:
- The farm is on year 2, on summer, day 1.
- The host lists me as a player.
- Uninstalled and installed the game on both switches.
- Check for the game updates - nothing new.
- Check for the switch updates - nothing new.
- Tried online and local multiplayer, same symptom, only one specific farm doesn't show up on the "join" list.
- Unifying the version through local communication on the switch menu (doesn't do anything).
- Created another farm: everything works on any farm except the main one.
- On her side (host), it shows my farmer, it shows my cabin. She even can play split screen with my character and everything is there.
- We tried to add another cabin manually. Doesn't fixed.
- Tried to change the options and then change it back - multiplayer with friends, allow new characters enabled, everyone can move buildings.
- Same language on both consoles.
- She tried to live to the next day, solo and on split screen with my character. It doesn't fixed.
- Connected to other wifi networks. Nothing changed.
- We swapped the consoles: she connected her account on mine so I can host it, doesn't work either.
I don't know what else we can try. I'll appreciate any help, cuz I really want to continue our farm
