Spot on!Very sensible post, and I agree
Achievements has become a plague in the gaming industry. Therefore I try to largely ignore it. Not easy the way the are pushed everywhere, but it's more important to have fun and explore the game you play, and get immersed in the game world or universe. One of the reasons I love story based games like Witcher 3 or Red Dead Redemption 2. Explore and have fun, that's it.
I don't have 80 games, but I do actually have 1 platinum. But it was kinda easy in that game.
There are so many industrialized games like Assassin's Creed Series.
You can see the side quests are literally generated by programme or AI bot.
They are tedious and repetitive all the time.
I already have a job in daytime.
I don't need to do another job after work.
Stop playing these mediocre games.
Witcher 3 and RDR2 are great games although R-Star launcher on Steam literally sucks. This made me crazy from time to time.
I love the world of Witcher3.
I absolutely immersed in the magical world of Witcher 3.
Even riding a horse in the big world is worth everything.
Cherish all handmade side quests.
I have seen too many side quests which are actually similar such as delivering an item to somebody or killing an enemy or finding out where is the dog which the villager lost. I don't understand as a super hero, what I do every day is not defeating my top nemesis or saving the world but to deliver packages like a paper boy.
Oops, we're getting off track.
Let me stop complaining then
