Not quite perfect

Been like this for a while already. 3 last nuts are in the music room. Have tried it several times, but just can't compute ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

I can film it with the phone and succeed with it slowed down like heck. Hopefully. But is perfection really worth the hassle?

Did it once years ago on PC, and recall something about the summit, but otherwise not much changed from what I recall.

DO IT.

It is your destiny.

Your meaning of life will be pointless !!!
My life is already kinda pointless, but I get your meaning.

The save feels kinda "done" when I've built up and organised the farm, and are raking in money. I'm not motivated by trying to earn 100 million, or a billion. On pc it was great fun to try deep diving the skull cavern, but that isn't possible on console unfortunately.

Why not? I play on ps4 and just went down to floor 1250
๐Ÿ˜ณ How the hell did you pull that off?

Doesn't seem like the pause trick works when I've tried. And it's more difficult with controls too. As a result I have only done it organically, only stairs on monster floors, and am just shy of floor 200. Which is pathetic compared with what I did on PC.

Well I've never played on anything but ps4 so I don't have anything to compare it to, but the pause trick seems to work for me I guess. I just take a couple stacks of staircases and spend the whole day staircase, pause, staircase, etc.

I just started doing this though but so far my pb is 7 auto petters, though I haven't had a true best luck day yet.

Some little tips and tricks:

Try remembering the pattern as two-three crystal combos rather than one giant thing, so like "1-2, 2-3, 5-1" rather than "122351"

Try drawing it out on scrap paper. Sketching the sequence you'll need to follow on paper might work better for helping to memorize it than numbers in your head. (Alternatively, I've sometimes found after a while remembering the tune actually helps almost as much as the positions.)

Keep at it! It gets slower when you fail so sticking there and giving it a solid dozen or more tries in a row will make it much easier than trying a few times, quitting, coming back. Also, eventually you'll get it just by luck alone: each time you forget a step and have to guess there's a 20% chance of being right anyway, after all. And with a random sequence each time you're more likely to eventually get an easier one to remember, like red three times in a row at the start.

Thanks for the tips. I tried, I really did. Including by hitting the wrong one about 10 times in a row to slow down the game. Still, only got to the third round, and there are five. Getting through this by accident or by trial and error, sounds exceedingly unlikely.

Couldn't be bothered to try the film with phone trick, when an in-world option is right there... Yes, I was weak, but also got to see a new cutscene by lobbing 30k at the corporate shill.

It was kinda nice actually ๐Ÿ˜… And I had forgotten there were all these credits rolling, and all the creatures etc shown. Plus what looked like Krobus flying over the valley in the claws of an owl or suchlike ๐Ÿ˜‚

I still have some goals, tho. Any year now, I'm bound to remember to do a certain thing on the last day of a season. Damnit! ๐Ÿ˜‚

A second kid would be nice too, but that is amusingly not in my hands. You hear that, Penny?

And continue to build more fishponds and fill them with legendaries. Heck, if I don't get too bored with the game or want to start over, may even try my hand at interior design, besides placing down some of the 9999 plants Lewis's machine is spitting out.

All I heard is that the parrots aren't real and that krobus might actually just be the Hero of Time

It works on any platform, it's just limited mechanically.

It's totally achievable on console though, just takes a little more effort to get into

It occurs to me one more time that finding meaning is actually meaningless.

There is no need to force yourself to set up a new goal then achieve it.
I mean... if you don't feel happy playing a game, perhaps this is the best timing to try a new game, start and experience a new journey.

I don't think somebody needs to "insist" on a game.
Playing games isn't having breakfast, this is not mandatory for life.
If the game cannot bring you happiness or you have experienced all you want, let it go.

Like I mentioned before, I never finished Platinum Trophy on PS4/5 although I purchased more than 80+ games.

Nobody snoops on my achievement list.
I don't want to force myself achieve anything I don't enjoy.

let it go and put obsession down.

I talked too much, ignore my rave then. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Very sensible post, and I agree ๐Ÿ™‚

Achievements has become a plague in the gaming industry. Therefore I try to largely ignore it. Not easy the way the are pushed everywhere, but it's more important to have fun and explore the game you play, and get immersed in the game world or universe. One of the reasons I love story based games like Witcher 3 or Red Dead Redemption 2. Explore and have fun, that's it.

I don't have 80 games, but I do actually have 1 platinum. But it was kinda easy in that game.

It's the Airbender game isn't it?
