1.6 Update No option for multiplayer

I have the updated version of the game, but there is no option to turn it to online or co-op or anything remotely close to any of this.. I have done all I know to do. There is nothing on my home page but 'new' and 'load'. Nothing in options or settings or anything. I have a fairly new android. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Or I just need to give up

the multiplayer mode on mobile is experimental, you can read the tutorial how to enable it here. Then you can play Stardew Valley with your friends.
