Hello,
I'm having trouble with unlocking the island trader on Ginger Island because the parrot is missing from its perch (see attached image). I've had the farmhouse unlocked for over an entire season.
The only think that I can think of that might've gone wrong was the first day that I unlocked the island farmhouse, I passed out on my GI farm and it sent me back to my main house. I was confused so I went back to GI the next day and it showed that my GI house was still locked (even though I unlocked it for sure the day before). I think that was a glitch. However, since then, there's been no parrot at the island trader spot.
It seems like all the other parrots are in their spots (e.g., parrot express, beach resort, etc.). I'm only missing the island trader parrot.
My mailbox has also been unlocked (not that it matters).
I have 21 walnuts in hand right now so it's also not a problem of having enough walnuts.
Can someone please help me troubleshoot/fix this? I'm not playing with any mods.
