iOS No furnace after Clint cutscene

Hey, started a new game on iOS, made it to the mines and got some copper (DID NOT BUY IT!), Clint came to my house the next day and told me he gave me the blueprint for the furnace but it’s not in my crafting menu, despite me having the materials.

I think the problem is that your phone's island, or whatever it's called, is covering the furnace recipe. You can see it mostly covering the recipe under the campfire, and it's long enough to completely cover the first recipe of the third row. I guess you won't be able to make a furnace until you've got enough recipes that you need to scroll down. Unless... Is there a way to flip the screen so the island is on the other side of the screen?
