Android No cutscenes work. They all get stuck at the beginning.

I'm experiencing a bug where every cutscene gets stuck when it starts. The cutscene will initiate, and everyone will be in an idle animation, everything still moves like water, grass, the sounds are still playing, it feels like in a second the cutscene will start and text will start appearing, but nothing happens, it just stays like that forever. I am able to skip the cutscene, but I'll miss out on everything that happened and would like to see them.
I've already tried creating a new game file, but the bug is still there, and deleting and reinstalling the game didn't fix it either. What others solutions could I try?

I too am having this problem. Some work, some won't. I end up having to skip the cut scene.
